80s were the best decade ever, far far better than now. we had no technology, had to depend on playing records, tape,s, or the radio for music,only 3 channels on the tv, but them 3 channel were mile,s better than tv today, sometimes there was 2 or 3 programs on at the same time, so we would put a blank tape in the video to tape 1 while watching the other, now there,s 100s of channels on tv, but nothing worth watching, also comedians were funny ,where you could have a good laugh, not like todays so called comedians, that are useless.

I am here in February 2025. I first heard this 80's classic in 1981 when it was released and topped the UK chart. I was 17 then and loved the song. I am now 60 and Reminisce great songs of the the early 80's.
I met her son Iain many years ago at a party at Edinburgh University. I remember he said he loved winding people up saying he was half Scottish / half Japanese... purely on the back of his Mum's alter ego; Aneka. He was a nice down to earth guy.
